Me and My friend went to see Britain's Got Talent yesterday. It was BRILLIANT fun but i have to admit the acts weren't up to much at all.
I'll start from the Beginning...
WE arrived about just over 2 hours early and waited in the freezing cold to make sure we defo got in. Because even though you get tickets they give them out over the amount that they will let in to compensate for the people who do not run up.
So freezing cold we waited and then Piers Morgan turned up...I got sooo excited lol... I was like " OMG, It's Piers Morgan!!!!" it was amazing then Amanda Holden turned up and i was the same. Also saw Big Tony (Simon's Body Guard) hanging outside having a smoke....he mustn't be doing his job well kos Simon was nowhere to be seen.
Then there were screams from behind us there was Ant and Dec!!!! it was sooo kool. lol. They looked like tiny dots kos they were so far away but it was still kool. lol
Anyway, we got ushered in and sat on the second row of the middle tier (because the ground floor seats were for V.I.P's. So, our seats were really good and we sat listening to High School Musical songs on the sound system for like 15minutes then a warm up comedian came on and chatted to us for a while. He was sooo funny. I Think his name was Roycey or something like that.
So when he came on he told us how the show worked and told us we had to do a few things. We had to do a recording of the whole audience getting up and clapping...at nothing, lol. Just so they can edit it in when it comes to production. We also had to shout "OFF! OFF! OFF!" as well at nothing.
He was talking away again and at one point i took a picture of him and my flash went off. He looked up to me and went "Why you taking a picture of me? Are you guna show it to your mates and say 'aw man, i sh***ed him last night' ? " . It was great banter.
He also asked who was from Glasgow and who wasn't and he shouted up to me again where i was from, since i shouted to sat i wasn't from Glasgow. I shouted where i was from a couple of times and he couldn't hear me so he just went "orite then". lol
After that i think he done a few jokes and then Ant and Dec came on just to say have fun, show your emotions and all that jazz.
The comedian then came back on and told us what to do when the Judges (Simon, Piers and Amanda) came on. We had to shout "Who Are Ya!" at Piers, it was really funny at the time".
So the Piers, Amanda and Simon cam on stage and Piers and Amanda said a wee bit, have fun etc, and then Simon came on. He just had to tell us that he is in fact 75% Scottish and that his mothers name is Daglish. lol.
So it proceeded to the auditions. How BAD they were. I mean there was the odd couple that were ok. I think about 4 people got through outa the 20 we saw.
I didn't realise how stop and start it was goin to be. I mean after every act, a producer or something would get up to the judges table and talk to them for a bout 5 minutes. but that wasn't that bad because Roycey came on and entertained us.
Another thing that was quite funny was that after every couple of acts Simon's make-up artist would come over an powder his face down.
I won't go into any of the acts because you'll get to see them when it's aired on TV but when they got Ex'd it was so scary. Its so loud and if you dont see it cumin you jump out ur skin. because sometimes the idiot that is Piers (but i do secretly heart him a little, lol, and simon too) would ex someone, like the slinky man (you'll see it, i hope), jumped out our skin and nearly had a conronary!!! lol
Oh yeah, i nearly forgot to say. When there was a break we went outside to get food or whatever and we met Stephen Mulhern. He is so handsome in the flesh and so lovely. we asked for a pic and he was like "yeah sure, of course" and i got a wee pic with him...was brill, lol!!!

which one were you???
I'll be honest becuase there is no point in lying right???
i think it would be good if what you did was all abit faster. i think you should be aiming to do everything more quixkly...kos im sure if you gave me an hour i could do what you did. and the people at the side needed to do a bt more than just sit there.
how did you find my blog??
xx
Hi sorry but I totally disagree with you. I saw Aereolocos and they were fab. When you take into account the amount of practice, upper body strength, timing and down right talent needed. No offence but there is no way you could do that after an hour think you've been listening to closely to The Cowell. I also just had to add the girls at the side did a hell of a lot more than just sit there are you sure your vision wasn't distorted by Simons big head.
I stand by opinion and no it wasnt distorted by Simon Cowell's. and thats fine that you have yours. i was giving constructive criticism.
Most Of the time Simon really tells the truth.

Hey i think you must have been two rows from the back not the front, Aerolocos were fantastic i doubt very much that you colud do what those guys did in an hour. If it wre up to the audience im sure they would have gone through no problem. I was there they were fab and im sure you havent seen the last of them, mabe you will audition next year doing what they did if easy will keep an eye out for you. xx
nah, i still stand by my opinion. i could defo do that. no disrepect to them or anything i just think what they did was a bit slow. im not sayint hey werent good at what they do per say it was all just a bit slow.
and i dont know wot audience u were sittin with but the audience i was with didnt seem to like them at all.
xx
also i htink its a bit obvious that all these people know each other.

I thought they were really good as well....maybe a little slow in terms of the pace of the act, but i agree with caz that you need insane amounts of skill to do something like that. developing upper body strength and balance to do acrobatics is really hard and sorry rachba but theres no way you could learn that in an hour.
